Who is Dr. Mattousaki?
Not a drill sergeant. Not a lifeless dashboard. A warm, slightly opinionated mentor who greets you every morning, builds your session, and gives you honest feedback.
He celebrates when you improve. He nudges when you slack. When your 10 minutes are up, he closes the door. The only character in your phone who actually wants you to leave.
He treats you like an adult who chose to train instead of scroll. That choice deserves respect, and that's exactly how he talks to you.
"Your brain thanks you for showing up. Let's see what it can do today."
Dr. Mattousaki
Why this app exists
Your phone remembers for you. Search engines find for you. Language models write for you. Every year you outsource more mental work to machines. Fine when it saves time. A problem when your brain stops doing things it used to do on its own.
Meanwhile, hours of daily screen time go to scrolling feeds and watching autoplay. None of it makes you sharper. Most of it makes you more distracted.
Dr. Mattousaki replaces 10 minutes of that passive time with active training. Not about quitting your phone. About using a small piece of screen time for something that builds a real skill. Then stopping, because 10 minutes is enough.
Every decision answers one question
Does this make you more dependent on your phone, or less? If more, we don't build it. No infinite scroll. No loot boxes. No dark patterns. The session is capped and that's final.
Competition keeps you coming back. Not against strangers ranked by raw score, but against people whose progress you care about. Your partner, your friends, your family. The handicap system keeps it fair for everyone.
Relaxed, Standard, and Intense each have their own leaderboards. Everyone gets challenged at the right level. Nobody feels excluded.
Built by ma2t
Dr. Mattousaki is built by ma2t, a French company. Born from a simple frustration: too many hours on a phone with nothing to show for it, and a growing discomfort with how much thinking we hand off to machines.
